Vryburg show 2011
Sussex maak skoonskip op Vryburg
Op die Sussex kampioenskappe wat tydens die Vryburg skou 2011 plaasgevind het, het die stoeterye van Huntersvlei en Pothou uitstekend gevaar, met die Senior kampioen bul en Senior kampioen vroulike dier wat deur Huntersvlei vertoon is, en Pothou wat met die louere van die Jnr Kampioen bul en Junior kampioen vroulike dier weggestap het. Dieselfde bul van Huntersvlei, Huntersvlei Klaus die 42ste, is ook as die opperste kampioen van die ras gekroon
Dit is egter in die interras kompetisie waar Sussex die uitklophou toegedien het. Die volgende toekennings het almal na Sussex beeste gegaan:
• Goue beker kampioen – Huntersvlei Klaus die 42ste (JRE 07-10)
• Interras Fase D Kampioen Bul – Pothou PSS 09 9296
• Interras Junior Kampioen Bul – Pothou PSS 09 9296
• Opvolger Kampioen Vleisras Gouebeker - Pothou PSS 09 9296
• Meeste punte – Sussex

Sussex make a clean sweep at Vryburg 2011
At the recent Sussex championships at the Vryburg show, it was Huntersvlei who walked away with both the Snr Champion bull and Snr Champion female, and mr and mrs George Potgieter from Pothou showed the Jnr Champion Bull as well as the Junior Champion female. The Snr bull of Huntersvlei, Huntersvlei Klaus the 42nd also won the honours of Breed champion.
Most importantly it was also Sussex that made a clean sweep in the interbreed championships, by winning the following awards:
• Gold cup winner – Huntersvlei Klaus die 42nd (JRE 07-10)
• Interbreed Phase D Champion Bull – Pothou PSS 09 9296
• Interbreed Junior Champion Bull – Pothou PSS 09 9296
• Runner-up Gold Cup - Pothou PSS 09 9296
• Highest score of all breeds – Sussex
